No.39 | Blue Square Porcelain Tumbler

A blue porcelain tumbler, which has been clear glazed on the interior and exterior lip, and wet sanded on the exterior unglazed surface. Shortly after this piece is thrown, I lightly pressed in the walls to create a squared off look at the base. During trimming I added two carved ridges.

Hand-thrown and fired to 2200°F in oxidation
Glaze is hand-mixed from raw materials, is non-toxic and food-safe
