No.45 | Black and White Grog Porcelain Tumbler

A black porcelain tumbler with white grog mixed in, which has been clear glazed on the interior and exterior lip, and wet sanded on the exterior unglazed surface. This piece has a set of white lines which are created by carving a channel in the piece, filling them with slip, and trimming away the excess. They sits flush with the body.

On top of one of the white lines is a small embedded blue dot.

Approximate Volume: 115ml

Hand-thrown and fired to 2200°F in oxidation

Glaze is hand-mixed from raw materials, is non-toxic and food-safe
